摘要

Falls in older adults are not only frequent but also potentially disabling\udfor them. Detecting and preventing these falls have an important impact in the life\udof the elderly people. This paper presents the architecture of a pervasive system\uddesigned to perform early detection of older adults in risk of falling or fell down.\udThe system notifies the appropriate people or healthcare organizations in case\udof detecting a fall of the monitored person. This monitoring process produces\udminimum disruption in the life style of the elderly.
機(jī)譯：老年人跌倒不僅頻繁，而且可能使他們癱瘓。發(fā)現(xiàn)并預(yù)防這些跌倒對老年人的生活有重要影響。本文介紹了一種普適系統(tǒng)的體系結(jié)構(gòu)，該系統(tǒng)旨在對處于跌倒或跌倒風(fēng)險的老年人進(jìn)行早期檢測。該系統(tǒng)會在檢測到被監(jiān)視人員跌倒的情況下通知適當(dāng)?shù)娜藛T或醫(yī)療機(jī)構(gòu)。這種監(jiān)視過程會極大地破壞老年人的生活方式。
